If you are looking for a half day lake navigation this is an ideal option.

We depart with our boat from Bahia Lopez and navigate into the pristine Tristeza Inlet. As we cruise next to vertical granite cliffs polished by glaciers thousands of years ago, we will visit several small, and not so small, beautiful waterfalls which drop straight into the lake.

Condors usually nest on these cliffs and, if we are lucky, we’ll be able to spot the largest flying bird on Earth either soaring above us or standing on a rock ledge.

A visit to the burial site of Francisco Moreno, also known as the Perito Moreno, the father of Argentina’s National Parks, on a small island in the lake, is the ideal setting to learn about some of Bariloche’s, and the country’s history.
