Rio Manso

The Manso is a stunning glacially fed river which literally crosses the Andes connecting the highest mountains of the Park with the Pacific!

Three distinct sections are regularly run by a hand full of companies. Two of them, being easy to moderate (Class II and III), provide ample opportunities to enjoy the Manso’s deep and lush canyon in a relaxed and fun day suitable to most.

The Frontera option with its class IV and V rapids is a gem amongst white water enthusiasts.

The Rio Manso tour includes a private guide and vehicle to get you to the put in and then provide support during your bike ride or hike, whichever you preffer. This will save you precious time to make the most out of your day, rather than waiting for the rafting company’s van service to pick up, and then drop off everybody else at different and distant hotels!

After running the river section, we will ride our mountain bikes along one of the best single tracks in the area. The first half is quite flat and even gently down-hill. The second half is a bit more challenging and will require a couple stream crossings and a few steep sections where we will walk. Our ride will end after crossing a hanging bridge and meeting up with our support vehicle, which will drive us back to Bariloche.
